Captured during the high flow of the 2017 Spring Runoff, the falls were flowing at nearly 20,000 cubic feet per second. The amazing light captured only lasted about 90-seconds as the sun peeked out of the clouds. Shoshone Falls usually sees much lower flows due to irrigation and power diversions upstream on the Snake River.
